Today's bullion tips & updates : Gold steadied after a 5-day slide, but continued to languish about its lowest in last 4 weeks, hurt by fears of a US rate increase current year & investor outflows. The metal tumbled to $1,114.10 on yesterday, the lowest since Oct 2. US(United States) gold futures also slid to a one-month low of $1,113.60 in the previous session.
Spot gold had ticked up 0.4 per cent to $1,121.30 an ounce by 0036 GMT, after sliding over 4 % in the last 5 sessions. Bullion is under pressure since the Fed Reserve previous week hinted at a rate increase in the month of December, reversing earlier market estimations that the first US(United States) rate increase in nearly a decade could be delayed to up coming year on world wide growth concerns.
